I Found My Least Favorite Thing at Work

During my orientation at Albertsons, I was sitting in the back room. I listened to the music in the store and noted it was the exact same music that had played at Staples years ago. Eventually, I was proved wrong, as I heard a U2 song. Until today, I had forgotten about that.

You see, the front of Albertsons is really noisy. REALLY noisy. But during a quiet bit today, I was able to strain to the edges of my hearing and catch snatches of "Where the Streets Have No Name." It made me sad to not be able to hear the whole thing. Especially when the alternative is the stupid stuff on the little TV to try and entertain the people in line.

In other news, I recently ordered a bunch of Mortal and Fold Zandura CDs online. They arrived today. I was listening to Wake, and on the way home, I heard them do a Beatles cover (Nowhere Man). Which was very weird. I mean, I know they consider the Beatles to be one of their main influences, but still. I also noted that on their live CD (which I have yet to hear) they have two covers. One is a U2 song...

My Mortal and FoldZan collections are nearly complete! I will have to buy some compilations to get all the FoldZan songs I want, though. Frustrating, since I know that I was able to (legally) download two of them years ago, but deleted them...
