I've been spending the past several days wondering when my tastes in music expanded enough that I could enjoy Mortal's Nu-En-Jin. Much of this time, I've been trying to learn the lyrics, though I suspect my voice is permanently incapable of reproducing the sound of the album.
I really have to express my admiration for all the lyrical wiritng with Mortal/Fold Zandura. I mean, so often you'll think they were talking about a romance, their love of the Aegean sea, or environmentalism. Then you look again and realize that they were talking about God. I love it!
And I'll get on with writing part 3 sometime soon. Really. Some more comments/discussion would help in the motivation department. ;-) No, seriously. I'm trying to open a dialouge with this stuff. So dialouge with me.
For now, I sign off with some of these words I'm memorizing:
bring down the stars, oh God,
bring down the sun and moon,
tear wide the firmament,
with cloudburst, with cloudburst
then let your glory fall,
let every eye behold,
let every tongue confess,
you are God! you are God!

Sorry I didn't get around to your blog sooner. I just visited mine for the first time in months and found your comment there with the invite yours. I've since read your posts and commented on both.
