What a Weekend!

At the conference last weekend, God gave me a sense of connection to things in my past (two years ago or so). As a result, I've been reading a lot of my old blog posts. I'm really glad, because I'm seeing a lot of connections between then and now.

Since my last blog post, I've done some stuff. Like Tae Kwan Do. Thank you for inviting me Michelle. I had an excellent time, and if I had time and money, I'd be a regular in a heartbeat.

I also had my first closing shift at Albertsons. Not so fun.

The next morning, Southlands had our second "Band of Brothers" meeting. We had breakfast, worshipped, and Chris talked to us about sex. There were a bunch of questions collected for him to answer, but we never got to them. Sex is a big topic far to ignored in the church, so Chris had a lot of ground to cover. I was struck yet again about how he will say what needs to be said without embarrassment. I love that about him.

I was unable to contact Josh regarding worship team practice, so I just hung out. Then went to the Campus Crusade prayer walk. It was amazing. We hadn't had an organized prayer walk since the fall of 2004. That's over two years. And there were more than twice the number of people there than we used to have at the old prayer walks. I'm elated to be handing over Crusade to all of the new people. I really feel like you guys are much of the answers to my prayers from years past.

Okay, time for me to head off to work. 3 to midnight again. Ugh.

Oh, and there's been a massive overhaul on my links. Several blogs that haven't been updated in six months have been removed. Several blogs have been added. I highly recommend checking all these out. If your blog is missing, let me know.
