God On High! Electrify!

A few years ago, a friend described the spiritual climate in Fullerton as "charged, like the air just before lightning strikes." I felt it was like an earthquake was about to be let loose. There were many of us who laboured in that time, praying, evangelising, sowing into the kingdom. And then I became weary and lost touch with what was happening in the spiritual realms.

As God has awakened me to this awareness again, I see how much our sowing has produced fruit. Where there once was a resistance to worship at CSUF, entering into God's presence is easy. The group is larger, more active, and reviving things that died out (like our prayer walks). Tonight was the first ever Campus Crusade for Christ LA Metro Prayer and Worship Night. Everything that happened tonight is the result of the sowing and the spiritual climate I mentioned in the first paragraph. And yet again, the air feels charged, like lightning about to strike. There is a rumble in the air, like when an earthquake rushes at you. God is bringing forth something again, and I'm excited to see how it will turn out.

We now have so much unity amongst the Crusade groups on different campuses. CSUF has such a huge group, and we're now supporting the smaller groups nearby (BTW, I'm getting the Chapman people in touch with all of us so we can pull them in). We had our prayer meeting too. Phew. Just the fact that that we were all praying for each other's schools is powerful. And then we were praying for the schools that lack an organized Christian presence. Just before the last worship bit, Jessica Howard was looking at me and trying to convey how much God was moving. To everyone was there, I doubt I need to tell you that the glory of God fell on us. But I just did, anyways. When I knelt, I began praying for manifestations of God's glory. Not that manifestations themselves are necessarily meaningful. But I wanted our worship to be such that manifestations were inevitable. Later, I looked at the stage, and was cognizant of angels up there (I can't say I saw them. But I was aware of their presence). There was one standing between Ryan and AJ, a little bit behind them. When Ryan got on the drum set, that angel moved between them. There were two flanking Merrilee, with their hands on her shoulders. And there were probably many more angels around, but those are the ones I was aware of...

Guys, I know Tommy mentioned it, and showed the scriptural promise, but let me, as one who sees (a very very little), declare that tonight, the heavenlies were shaken. I can't say what the long-term results will be. We've still got a lot of sowing and a lot of walking out to do. But something is beginning. The earthquake is nearly upon us ... the lightning is about to strike...

I was so glad you were there tonight. It is truly a blessing to fellowship with you.

I'm excited about what God is doing too!

Hey Stephen,
It was great to see you could make it to the Night of Prayer. I agree, it was really awesome getting together with LA Metro Campuses and praising and prayer to God altogether. Thanks for including SCC CRU! God Bless You!!~

P.S. Sorry I couldn't take much last night. I was kind of out of it. Thanks for hug. Much Appreciated. :-) Oh, by the way, did you hear our car died on the 57 on ramp in San Dimas?
